Goal of the Program 

We know that attracting diverse talent is important to our 雇主 community, while our students are also searching for organizations that demonstrate values of 股本, 多样性, 包容, 和归属感. To support our students 和 雇主s, 职业生涯 和 Professional Success has created the 多样性 和 包容 Employer 冠军 Program.  

The program recognizes 雇主 partners who demonstrate the utmost devotion to social justice 和 equality through tangible actions. With this recognition, students will be able to easily search, 识别, 和 connect with organizations committed to making progress on these values.  

Recognition Levels 

雇主 will be identified at two levels 和 recognized with the following benefits: 

    冠军   

    Meets all 7 criteria listed below

    • 多样性 & 包容 冠军 label added in 握手 visible 和 searchable to students 
    • 包容 in specific active jobs feed on CaPS main webp年龄 (fshmug.com/career)  
    • Quarterly shoutout on internal student leadership website 
    • Employer name listed on CaPS student-centered 多样性 资源 webp年龄 
    • Promotion on CaPS social media accounts

    Meets at least 4 criteria listed below

    • Employer name listed on CaPS student-centered 多样性 资源 webp年龄
    • Promotion on CaPS social media accounts 

    Criteria for Submission

    To be recognized through the program an 雇主 must meet at least 4 of the below criteria. 雇主 approved for accomplishing all 7 criteria will be designated a 冠军. 雇主 approved for accomplishing at least 4 criteria will be designated a 不断上升的冠军.

    1. Company publishes a mission statement, 愿景, or philosophy centered around equitable access 和 inclusivity.
    2. Company provides 和 requires professional development, 培训, 和 education on 多样性, 股本, 包容, 和归属感 topics.
    3. Company conducts 多样性, 股本, 包容, 和归属感 programming including, but not limited to, 亲和力组, employee resource groups, 指导, 和 internal sponsors.
    4. Company exercises a 多样性 retention 和 recruitment strategy.
    5. Company holds employees accountable for actively participating in an inclusive culture of belonging 和 has a bias response process in place should an incident occur.
    6. Company monitors equitable pay across their organization.
    7. Company proves a track record of 至少两个 of the following accomplishments
      • Data driven approach to 股本, 多样性, 包容, 和归属感 initiatives with (1) public or easily accessible data on 多样性 retention 和 多样性 in leadership 和 (2) measurable goals man年龄ment 和 executive leadership are held accountable for meeting.
      • Operational strategy 和 decision-making are transparent 和 measured against objectives promoting sustainability 和 social 股本.
      • Equity, 多样性, 包容, 和归属感 efforts integrate 和 add value to the local community. Value is created through donation of time, 资源, or money to underrepresented community populations or local socially equitable policies

    Application Process

    Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. There is no deadline to submit. The application will ask you to provide responses 和 supporting documentation for the above criteria. We recommend having your human 资源 or leadership complete the form.

    CaPS will review applications on a weekly basis. It may take up to 2 weeks to receive a response. Responses will be reviewed according to criteria vetted by UNH’s Office of 社区, Equity 和 多样性奥尔巴尼J. Beauregard Center for Equity, Justice, 和 Freedom.

    CaPS will review recognized 雇主s 和 levels on an annual basis. 

    CaPS is committed to supporting 雇主s working towards becoming a 多样性 和 包容 冠军.
